ClearBumper came about in 2005 at a body shop where complaints were always being told from customers stating they don't understand why cars these days have plastic bumpers and not the old fashion chrome ones and that parking on city streets was ruining the look of their car. We tried to find a solution that would keep the original look of the vehicle in tact and not have a bulky black protector installed that everyone knows looks terrible. We knew of the clear plastic they use on hoods but the thickness was just not enough to protect from parking damage. After searching around we found out that there is a film that is 14 mils thick and we gave it a try and after many attempts to make it cost effective for the consumer we came up a solution. A clear bumper strip was the answer that we were looking for.

Our strips only cover the areas that are most effected while parking. There is no need to cover the entire bumper like our competitors and charge what they are charging, it's definitely overkill.

We did installs at a local body shop and once the word got out we had calls from all over the U.S. asking how they could get it for their car. That's when we came up with a kit so the consumer can install themselves. We then launched our website and now we are shipping all over the U.S and also branching out into other countries.

Now, not only do we sell World wide be also have distributorships available for people so they can be an exclusive dealer in their city.
